The BEST Pencil Sharpner, meets the QUEEN BEE

My teacher friend neighbor is the BEST...at the beginning of summer she ordered us one of these new, every body's talking about them, pencil sharpeners!  I bought her lunch in return, I think she got the wrong end of that deal!

I chose the color black, not her, even though she was the one who came up with the thought...I chose the color with one thing in mind. I wanted to "trick" it out and make it BEE-utiful!

As you can see it is a plain Jane sharpener! So I went out and found some yellow tape.

Before I 'Jacked it' up I had to use it a few times, sorry I didn't clean it for the photos...oops
Back to the yellow tape, it was so bright and Y E L L O W I was so excited, then well it was opaque..I could see through it, should have spent the extra money on electrical tape...but I was undeterred!
I just slapped on another coat of tape! I still might go out and get the electrical tape, there is time...but now as I look at it I think he needs WINGS!!!

All in all , it turned out pretty nice, I trimmed the edges a bit here and there and voila...the final product.....
Once I figure out exactly what to make the wings from then we will see another post...LOL
So what do you think? Too much?

I went back today and used a box cutter....

and another layer of tape!
